Riello Launches New Addition to Family Range
Riello introduces an update to its Family range of condensing boilers, known for customer reliability and first-class performance. The ideal solution for the discerning user, this next generation meets installation needs from new construction and renovations to single installations and multi-energy systems. With this new update, we’ve introduced important innovations, including the stainless steel primary heat exchanger, a new high-performance domestic hot water heat exchanger and the implementation of an automatic combustion control system,” explains Raffaele D’Alvise, marketing and engineering director, Riello Group. “While still respecting the original brand identity, we have also renewed the design of the condensing boiler to create cleaner lines to make it more elegant and suitable for a variety of applications.”
The heat exchanger is the core of the boiler and the essential component for its optimal functioning. For this reason, Riello has equipped the renewed Family boiler with both a new primary exchanger – made of stainless steel for maximum reliability and efficiency over time – and a new optimized sanitary exchanger, which allows it to achieve the best energy class in this operation mode (class A). The Family range thus provides minimum energy consumption and amazing comfort, thanks to the stability of the hot water temperature and reduction in wait times.
Riello has also developed the self-adaptive electronic combustion control air-cooled condenser, which verifies and adjusts the combustion parameters so the process takes place in ideal conditions. Thanks to this intelligent control system, installation is easier and faster as it does not require calibration or the installation of specific accessories with gas fuels that aren’t standard. The level of carbon dioxide is constantly monitored and contained below the limits set by regulations. Nitrogen oxide values meet the most restrictive European regulations, reaching the best class (Class 6).
The updated control panel is clear, intuitive, easy to use and elegant. The large backlit display and new interface offers improved text and icons to facilitate programming and setting. The display features a band that changes color, allowing the user to know the operating status of the boiler at a glance. From the control panel, it is also possible to proceed with the semi-automatic filling of the system, when the pressure falls below the reference value.
The new Riello Family can be integrated into a hybrid system to work in synergy with elements such as solar thermal, heat pumps and domestic hot water cylinders. Thanks to the built-in port for the Modbus communication protocol, the updated Family boiler interacts with the multi-energy system enclosed in the hybrid control panel, which is available as an accessory and can replace the standard boiler control. Using Riello Family in a multi-energy system increases the efficiency of the system up to class A+/A++, according to EU regulations.
Family is compatible with RiCLOUD, Riello’s smart remote control, to manage the comfort of the house in a simple and intuitive way, even when outside. Through the dedicated app, it is possible to check the status of the heating system and program the on/off, temperature and operating periods directly from a smartphone or tablet. In addition, according to the 2018 Italian Regulations, the RiCLOUD allows the new Riello Family boiler to be eligible for the 65% fiscal deduction, where applicable.
The new Family range includes three powers (25, 30 and 35 kW), which can be calibrated according to the needs of the system, thanks to the Range Rated certification. It is available both in combined and heating-only versions.
