UTC Climate, Controls & Security Donates to Local Food Bank
UTC Climate, Controls & Security is pleased to announce a holiday donation to the Palm Beach County Food Bank of Lantana, Fla. A check in the amount of $5,000, along with boxes of non-perishable food items, was presented by David Appel, president, Carrier Transicold and Refrigeration Systems, to help the food bank feed more Palm Beach County residents this holiday season. UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a leading provider of refrigeration systems, is a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
All of the non-perishable food items were collected and donated by employees to support the food bank’s goal of addressing the needs of more than 200,000 food insecure residents of Palm Beach County.
