Kidde Brasil Urges Consumers to Be Aware of Fire and Carbon Monoxide Risks in Households

With family safety in mind, in 2015, Kidde launched a line of Kidde smoke and CO detectors in Brazil with 10-year working batteries, an innovation that offers a new level of household protection.

“The new line of Kidde smoke and CO detectors is one of the best and most practical ways of protecting families from fires and carbon monoxide,” says Roberta Godoy, marketing manager, Kidde.

Kidde detectors provide a safe and easy way of detecting the presence of smoke and CO. They are easy to install and come with an assembly kit. A beep will warn when the 10-year-working-battery detector has reached the end of its service life and must be replaced. In addition, the alarms are certified by Underwriters Laboratoriesin the United States - a laboratory specialized in testing safety products.

For additional convenience, the line of Kidde detectors includes models developed for each room in the house:

Living Room and Bedroom – has a sensor that detects the presence of smoke and sounds an alarm to warn about the danger.

Hallway and Stairway – additionally provides an intense LED light to assist in finding the exit route.

Kitchen and Laundry Room – the detector offers extra protection by detecting not only smoke but also the presence of carbon monoxide, which may be fatal.
