BUILDING the Next Generation of Leaders, Made POSSIBLE Through Carrier’s Support
Carrier continues to inspire young, talented minds through STEM education by supporting FIRST®, a global youth robotics organization. Through FIRST, students ages 5 to 18 are encouraged to develop science, technology, engineering and math skills for future careers.
During the 2024-2025 season, Carrier supported FIRST international and regional competitions, as well as provided grants to employee-led teams. Grants were awarded to support student teams in underserved communities. Funding was provided to 30 teams from Title I schools across 23 U.S. cities, which could be used toward their FIRST program registration, tournament registration or program supplies.
At local regional competitions, Carrier BUILDING POSSIBLE™ employee volunteers participated in a variety of activities including judging, refereeing, manning educational booths and more.

In April, five teams supported by Carrier, including two led by Carrier employee mentors, earned their way into the 2025 FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas to compete as they were cheered on by over 50,000 attendees.

Dedicating countless hours leading up to the FIRST Championship, one employee-led team placed 49th in the Newton Division and the other earned 8th in the Galileo Division out of 600 teams overall. In total, over 19,000 students from 66 countries participated at FIRST Championship.
