Carrier Again Named One of America’s Most Responsible Companies by Newsweek
For the fourth consecutive year, Carrier was recognized by Newsweek as one of America's Most Responsible Companies. The ranking is based on a holistic view of corporate responsibility, ranking companies in three categories – environment, social and corporate governance. The selections were made by Newsweek and global research and data firm Statista based on publicly available key performance indicators and an independent survey.
Carrier’s 2030 ESG goals include measures to improve our planet, our people and our communities through sustainable solutions, investments and practices. Since 2020, Carrier’s high-efficiency and lower global warming potential refrigerant products have enabled customers to avoid approximately 270 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions, which is equal to the annual energy use of more than 34 million U.S. homes.
From a people standpoint, Carrier remains steadfast in its goal to create a workplace that is truly and genuinely inclusive, and where all employees feel like they _belong. To empower its employees, Carrier has invested in global people programs focused on culture, engagement, inclusion, flexible work, well-being, development and career growth. In the communities Carrier serves, the company continues to make a positive impact through philanthropic giving, volunteerism and partnerships.
