RIT

Carrier has been named to Fortune’s 2024 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies, making the list for its third-consecutive year.

Carrier’s 2030 ESG goals demonstrate the company’s commitment to pursuing decarbonized solutions and operations, an inclusive workforce, and vibrant communities. Since 2020, Carrier’s high-efficiency and lower global warming potential refrigerant products have enabled customers to avoid approximately 270 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions, which is equal to the annual energy use of more than 34 million U.S. homes. In addition, through our road map to net zero, Carrier is driving to zero emissions from the development and operation of our products by 2050.

From a people standpoint, Carrier remains steadfast in its goal to create a workplace that is truly and genuinely inclusive, and where all employees feel like they _belong. To empower its employees, Carrier has invested in global people programs focused on culture, engagement, inclusion, flexible work, well-being, development and career growth. In the communities the company serves, it continues to make a positive impact through philanthropic giving, volunteerism, and partnerships.

To determine the list, Fortune identifies industry groupings by using the Fortune 1,000 listing for U.S. based companies and Global 500 database for major non-U.S. companies and creates a survey that evaluates the companies based on nine attributes of reputation including ability to attract and retain talent, quality of management, social responsibility, innovativeness, quality of products and services, financial soundness and more.
