Introducing the Center for Intelligent Buildings; Carrier’s Opens State-of-the-Art World Headquarters

Today, Carrier unveiled its world headquarters, the Center for Intelligent Buildings, a first-of-its-kind technology, innovation and collaboration center located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida featuring solutions and interactive displays from its brands, the building brings to life all the ways we're building possible around the world.

Carrier employees celebrated alongside over 100 visitors including elected officials – Florida Governor Rick Scott, Palm Beach County Mayor Melissa McKinlay and City of Palm Beach Gardens Mayor Maria Marino along with other business and community partners. The day was filled with a commemorative ribbon cutting as well as tours of the building.

The Center for Intelligent Buildings reveals the unseen – taking critical building technologies that are typically hidden and making them visible and interactive. Featuring a one-of-a-kind Customer Experience Center showcasing innovative products, integrated systems and interactive displays from across the Carrier portfolio, the experience starts the moment a visitor walks through the doors. In addition, the building offers a top-of-the-line briefing center and conference facility to ensure all customer visits are productive and collaborative from start to finish.

The 224,000 square-foot Center for Intelligent Buildings meets the highest standards for green design and operation, designed to LEED Platinum® v4 certification standards by the U.S. Green Building Council®.

In addition, as part of our commitment to giving back to the communities where our employees live, work and play, we announced the donation of $500,000 to the Palm Beach County Boys and Girls Club to support the construction of a new Teen Center in Belle Glade, Florida.
