Chubb Helps Sponsor IAMFA Event

Chubb helped to sponsor this year’s International Association of Museum Facility Administrators (IAMFA) Annual International Conference.

As part of the IAMFA 24th Annual Conference, guests from cultural institutions around the world were invited to participate in learning and networking opportunities in Edinburgh and Glasgow, we all as explore Scotland’s most popular cultural institutions. The conference offered innovative ideas for improving business operations, enhancing sustainability and reducing business costs.

John Pearce, general manager at Chubb’s Edinburgh branch, represented the company at the conference. The theme for the event was “The Fourth Dimension,” also known as the concept of time, and the conference discussed how Scotland has reinvented itself into an accessible and sustainable modern cultural destination.

Delegates were given exclusive tours of the award-winning Burrell Museum in Pollock Country Park, The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, The Riverside Museum, the National Museum of Scotland, The National Galleries of Scotland and the newly refurbished National Portrait Gallery.
