Carrier Transicold will unveil an important milestone in the development of a natural refrigerant for over-the-road transport and other customer-driven innovations and services for an efficient and sustainable cold chain. This milestone was reached through the production of a natural refrigerant trailer prototype unit, on display publically for the first time. It uses carbon dioxide (CO2), a natural refrigerant that has less impact on global warming than refrigerants currently used in conventional transport refrigeration systems. The prototype will be shown inside an exclusive “innovation lab” built within Carrier Transicold’s stand.
- The latest Vector™ unit
The new Vector 1350 trailer unit is making its IAA debut following an international launch in November 2013. The Vector 1350 unit completes the Vector line of three specialized refrigeration units designed to suit a multitude of customer applications from long haul to distribution.
