Carrier Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month | Unidos! Embracing the Future Together
Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to observe and celebrate the achievements, contributions and rich cultures of Hispanic and Latino Americans. Carrier's Hispanic Employee Engagement Resource Group (CHEER) helps to create an inclusive culture, for all employees. CHEER hosted a series of events in September and October, to continue building a community that inspires, elevates and creates a sense of connectedness and belonging for Hispanics and Latinos at Carrier.

“The theme of Hispanic Heritage Month this year is ‘Unidos! Embracing the Future,’ recognizing the Hispanic and Latino community, and the extraordinary contributions they have made globally,” said Alberto Garza, Associate Director, HR Business Partner and CHEER Co-Chair. “Supporting the Hispanic community is not only important during Hispanic Heritage Month, but it's also vital to Carrier's dedication to promoting an inclusive culture where all employees feel like they _belong.”

On Sept. 20, Carrier kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month with guest speaker Claudia Romo Edelman, founder of the We Are All Human Foundation. Edelman shared valuable insights about the significant impacts of Hispanics and Latinos, and how to be active allies.
