Carrier Donates HVAC Systems to Habitat for Humanity’s Carter Work Project

21 homes. 21 Carrier Infinity® 16 heat pump systems. 21 Carrier Infinity system controls. And four net zero homes, thanks to Carrier geothermal systems.

For the second consecutive year, Carrier participated in Habitat for Humanity’s Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project where hundreds of volunteers helped build a north Nashville housing community alongside the former U.S. President and First Lady.

Carrier has been an active supporter of Habitat for Humanity for more than two decades and has been devoted to improving local communities. To continue that legacy of support, Carrier donated an Infinity® 16 Heat Pump system to each home paired with an Infinity® System Control, for even greater potential energy savings.

For the first time, four of the new homes achieved the classification of net zero energy using Infinity® heat pumps with Greenspeed® intelligence, meaning they produce as much renewable energy as they consume. Carrier also donated a mix of Infinity® geothermal, ductless system and ducted split systems.
