Celebrating the Anniversary of Modern Air Conditioning
July 17 marks the 119th anniversary of modern air conditioning. Since 1902, Carrier has made a profound impact on the world by improving indoor air quality in buildings.
From installing comfort cooling in the first skyscraper to creating the world’s first incubator room for newborns, Carrier paved the way for more comfortable and healthier indoor environments.
In recognition of Dr. Willis Carrier’s world-changing invention, we asked the children of Carrier employees to tell us why they love air conditioning. As you’ll see, the benefits of improved indoor air quality are well understood and broadly appreciated!
Thank you to all who participated and #ThanksWillis for your world-changing innovation!
