Pride at Carrier: Celebrating LGBTQIA+ Spirit Day
Pride Spirit Day

LGBTQIA+ youth face bullying and harassment at disproportionate rates. To shed light on the problem and spread kindness, the third Thursday of October is globally recognized as Spirit Day.

Each year on Spirit Day, millions of people worldwide wear purple to support the LGBTQIA+ youth in a united stand against bullying. ‘Going purple’ on Spirit Day is a simple yet powerful way to visibly show solidarity with the youth and participate in the most extensive LGBTQIA+ anti-bullying campaign in the world.

On Oct. 15, Carrier’s PRIDE Employee Resource Group (ERG) along with employee allies showed their support by wearing purple and sharing their selfies on social media.
