Carrier offers a broad suite of expert services such as consultation, implementation and continuous monitoring. These services can enable customers to restart, operate, maintain and upgrade their buildings to be safer and more efficient.

Carrier Healthy Building Technologies

Carrier’s Healthy Buildings Program offers customers comprehensive, building-wide technology solutions for today’s reimagined environments. In addition to Carrier’s comprehensive HVAC, fire, security and controls product offering, the Healthy Buildings offering includes:

Filtration technologies, available in new equipment and for retrofits, include various MERV filters, HEPA filters for particulate matter and the Infinity™ electrostatic filters for airborne pathogens. Carrier also offers devices using UVC light which are intended to target viruses and UV photocatalytic oxidation to help remove volatile organic compounds and improve IAQ.

OptiClean™ Negative Air Machine helps clean contaminated air and prevent it from spreading to different sections of a building. The machine can also be used as an air “scrubber” to pull air in, help remove contaminants and discharge cleaner air back into a room. There are various options to rent, purchase or finance these versatile air filtration machines.

Agion-coated 39M Air Handling Unit provides cost-effective IAQ improvement by minimizing the spread of infectious disease by inhibiting bacterial and microbial growth on the interior of the unit. Carrier’s Agion-coated interior panels of the 39M unit provide clean, long lasting anti-microbial protection. Agion is an anti-microbial compound composed primarily of silver ions which are released at a slow, steady rate helping to ensure protection for the life of the product.

ActivAir™ hybrid hydronic air terminal delivers increased ventilation and outside air – key infection control strategies relevant to the current public health crisis – in an energy-efficient way with low noise. This patented design combines a fan coil with an induction beam to provide superior comfort, high IAQ levels, low noise and high energy efficiency. It can be used for new buildings and retrofits in multiple applications.

Environmental Index™ Tool in our building automation platform enables building operators to manage temperature, humidity and CO2 levels in a way that identifies and addresses healthy building performance issues. The tool computes all three factors into the numeric system to reflect one “comfort” score providing facility managers the ability to help ensure buildings don’t become less efficient and healthy as changes are made.

DirectKey™ mobile access solution has empowered millions of hotel guests to safely access their hotel rooms without contact by bypassing the front desk check-in and eliminating many traditional touch points in the process.

BlueDiamond™ touchless access enables building occupants to eliminate a significant number of access touch points through implementation of industry leading mobile credentialing technology, supporting a healthier and safer building.

MyWay™ building services mobile platform integrates HVAC, lighting, elevator and other system controls, touchless access, indoor location and other services for a safer and personalized occupant experience. This scalable technology platform enables building owners to not only provide mobile-based control of building systems but also operate the facility for a customized and safer environment.

FireWorks® Incident Management Platform functions as a remote monitoring and control system for stand-alone buildings and expansive campuses alike. FireWorks can manage up to 8,000 Edwards fire alarm panels and is ready to provide coordinated, timely communications during threats in environments with diverse needs, including high-rise buildings, campuses and other globally dispersed organizations.

SmartCell™ is a powerful wireless fire detection platform that offers a wide range of sophisticated fire devices to meet the demands of any building. With its optional “plug-in” remote access module, the system can be configured remotely, which minimizes time spent on-site for deployment, resulting in substantial cost savings as well as reduced contact with building occupants.
