UTC Climate, Controls & Security Offers Expertise at EIPOS Fire Protection Expo and VdS Fire Protection Days

During the 16th Fire Protection Expo of the European Institute for Postgraduate Education (EIPOS) in Dresden, UTC Climate, Controls & Security brands GLORIA, Kidde Deutschland and Marioff will present their multiple fire prevention and protection products and services at booth 64. The brands are parts of Fire & Security Germany, a division of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

The brands’ common booth at the exhibition Nov. 23 and 24 allows building professionals to learn about the wide range of services and solutions for detecting fires and their safe and effective extinguishing:

• Kidde will exhibit its extinguishing system KD-1230 which makes use of the clean fire suppression agent Novec™ 1230. The agent is designed especially for sensitive environments as it extinguishes fires quickly and with minimal damage.
• Another UTC Climate, Controls & Security brand, GLORIA, will showcase its diverse product range of portable and mobile fire extinguishing and fire water systems as well as systems for fire fighting vehicles.
• Also on display within the booth, the Marioff Hi-FOG® water mist system, which uses up to 90 percent less water than traditional sprinkler systems.

Kidde, GLORIA, Marioff and Chubb, a leading provider of fire safety solutions and another UTC Climate, Controls & Security brand, will exhibit the following week at VdS Fire Protection Days in Cologne. Guests can visit booth B-07a Dec. 2-3 to learn about the brands’ broad product range and visit with experts to learn more about safety and extinguishing systems for sensitive environments.
