Carrier Celebrates Pride 2022
Carrier marked the annual commemoration of Pride Month through the thoughtful theme of “Embrace & Celebrate.” The company recognized and celebrated its friends, family, colleagues and others who are proud members or allies of the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersexed and asexual) community.

Chairman & CEO Dave Gitlin celebrated with members of Carrier’s global PRIDE Employee Resource Group (ERG) for the Pride flag raising event at its headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. At the same time, global flag raising events occurred at over 20 Carrier locations around the world including Mexico, France, U.K., Brazil and Australia.

Carrier employees participated in its annual Pride Month ceremony to recognize and celebrate proud members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community.

“We want Carrier to be a place where everyone feels like they _belong regardless of the color of their skin, their sexual orientation or their religion,” Gitlin said. “No matter who you are or what your background is or what your orientation is, you are truly valued.”

“I ask each of you here to take a moment to embrace and celebrate those around you,” Eva Azoulay, SVP, Global Business Services & Transformation and Executive Sponsor of Carrier’s PRIDE ERG, said at the flag raising. “We all want to belong, and we each individually can make the difference in an individual’s life. Just like our teammates around the world are making a difference in our lives today.”

The flag is a symbol and reminder of Carrier’s support for its LGBTQIA+ employees and allies worldwide.
